Good contractors, in Maud or anywhere, will identify things to supplement when the adjuster is on-site. This gives the customer the option to choose what to do about it, such as doing the work themselves or deciding not to fix it (e.g., something cosmetic). If the supplement is filed after the adjuster visits the property, the customer must file an invoice from a contractor in order to receive those funds, and does not have the option of doing the work themselves or leaving it undone.
